For those who do not know what Fasching is, it is the German equivalent of carnival. It is the last big celebration where the German People go wild before the Beginning of Lent and Ash Wednesday. A typical dessert are hand made donuts, but be careful as one contains mustard. It’s a sign of good luck for the upcoming year. A celebration is held every year at Platteville’s town hall, thrown by the German club on campus. Make sure to join in the festivities next year!
